These Terms and Conditions are the “Terms and Conditions” for the website “Claire Rich Therapy”.

Unless otherwise specified, the materials on this website are directed solely at consumers who access this website from the United Kingdom. Those who choose to access this website from other locations are responsible for compliance with local laws, if, and to the extent, local laws are applicable.

Any contract between us, whether for use of the website or in relation to the purchase of products or services through the website will be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and all parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. The ‘Free Initial Consultation’

Claire Rich Therapy offers a 'Free Initial Consultation' to all our potential clients with absolutely no obligation. This first meeting gives you the opportunity to meet us in person and see if you feel comfortable talking to us.

The ‘Free Initial Consultation’ can last anything from ten minutes up to half an hour. It is just an informal chat so that we can assess whether we feel we can definitely help you, and the best way for us to work together. No hypnosis is used during this initial meeting.

Please note that we do not need to see you for a 'Free Initial Consultation' before we start working together for some of our 'All Inclusive Therapy Packages'. We will let you know when you contact us if this is the case.

Working Online

Whilst sessions will generally take place in the traditional face to face manner at our office in Chelmsford, Essex in the United Kingdom wherever possible. We do realise that this isn’t always an option due to distance or some other reason. Fortunately, due to advancements in modern technology this isn’t a problem or always necessary. So for clients based further afield, either in the United Kingdom or overseas, we can conduct the ‘Free Initial Consultation’ and any future therapy sessions online via Skype for your comfort and convenience.

A reliable internet connection is required along with a good quality webcam, microphone and speaker facilities. (Please note, a headset with a microphone is the best option here). Further information will be provided when you contact us regarding working online.

Working Online

Please note that unfortunately we cannot guarantee the same levels of security, continuity and privacy when working with clients online. This is due to a number of external factors which are outside of our control, when clients do not attend our office in person for their therapy sessions. For example: Your PC Security and Privacy Settings, Internet Connection Stability and Security as well as the Location and Environment you choose to be in when we work together etc.

All clients are required to sign a form stating that they understand this, and are happy to proceed and work with us online on this basis. Rest assured, as always, we will still do our very best to maintain the highest possible standards of confidentiality during each therapy session, despite these unavoidable risks when working online.

Weekly Therapy Sessions

Therapy sessions are usually weekly and are based on a 50-minute hour (unless advised and agreed otherwise). You should therefore allow an hour at most for your session.

Please ensure that you arrive on time for your session, as the 50-minute hour begins at the agreed time and not the time the client arrives. Like all good Therapists, when we feel that a little extra time is needed, then we will give it. Please bear this in mind if you find yourself waiting a few minutes longer to start your appointment. We appreciate your patience and will be with you as soon as possible.

Payment

‘Deposit’

A ‘deposit’ is required in order to confirm your first therapy session date. The ‘deposit’ is the equivalent of one therapy session fee. The ‘deposit’ pays for your last session of therapy unless it is necessary to use it beforehand as a ‘Cancellation Fee’ (see our ‘Cancellation Policy’ below).

The ‘deposit’ is non-refundable, and is always given back to you (the client) as your ‘last session of therapy’, whenever that may be. Occasionally a client may decide to end their therapy early for whatever reason and that is entirely their prerogative. However, in this instance, the client should always advise their Therapist either before or at the session they intend to be their last, so that they are not charged for it. The ‘initial deposit’ will then be used to pay for this last session of therapy with us.

Fees

We will confirm the exact session fee at your ‘Free Initial Consultation’ once we have assessed how we plan to work with you. This will then be put in writing to you along with a copy of our ‘Weekly Therapy Session Payment Terms and Conditions’. The fee we have agreed will be due at your first session of therapy and subsequent sessions thereafter.

Methods of Payment

Cash, cheque, credit and debit cards are all accepted methods of payment. All cheques should be made payable to ‘Claire Rich Limited’ and will need to have cleared before each weekly therapy session can commence.

Cancellation Policy

Should you find you are unable to make your appointment for any reason, please telephone us on (01245) 444105 / 07734 059610 at least 48 hours beforehand so that we can reschedule, otherwise your deposit will be used as a cancellation fee. Should this be the case, another deposit will be required before therapy can recommence.

For Example: If your therapy session is usually at 1:00pm on a Tuesday, please telephone us by 1:00pm at the latest the Sunday before if you need to cancel and reschedule. As in this instance, if you are calling outside of office hours, you should leave a message on our answer machine.

All therapy session cancellations should be made by telephone (not via text message or email), as this is the speediest and most efficient method of communication. If you do get our answer machine, please leave us a message so that we can get back to you as soon as we are free.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a client’s therapy session at any time. In the unlikely event that this should be necessary, we will always endeavour to give you as much notice as possible.

All Inclusive Packages

As a general rule, our 'All Inclusive Package' sessions are usually held on a weekly basis and last one hour (unless advised or agreed otherwise). With the exception of any holidays that may be booked during the time we are working together.

The number of sessions included depends on the 'All Inclusive Package' purchased. Packages can be brought in blocks of 1, 3, 5, 7, 10 and 20. The only exceptions to this rule are some of our one-off 'All Inclusive Packages', where the session time may then be longer than one hour. We will confirm all of these details to you when you book your 'All Inclusive Package'.

Our 'All Inclusive Packages' must be taken within 6 months of the purchase date and by the person who purchased the package originally. The only exception being 'All Inclusive Packages' that are purchased as gifts.

We will explain the relevant 'All Inclusive Package Therapy Payment Terms and Conditions' to you at the time of booking. These will also be sent to you in writing once payment has been made.

Fees

We will confirm the exact 'All Inclusive Package' price to you at your 'Free Initial Consultation' once we have assessed whether we feel we can help you, and the best way for us to work together.

When a 'Free Initial Consultation' is not needed, we will provide you with the 'All Inclusive Package' price and any other relevant information over the telephone. This information will then be put in writing to you along with a copy of our 'All Inclusive Package Therapy Payment Terms and Conditions'. Please note that our 'Therapy Payment Terms and Conditions' do vary according to the type of therapy and 'All Inclusive Package' chosen.

Optional Extra - 'Personalised Live Recorded CD'

Most of our 'All Inclusive Packages' can be upgraded to include a 'Personalised Live Recorded CD'. The cost of this optional extra will be advised at the 'Free Initial Consultation' or 'Telephone Consultation' (whichever is applicable as stated above).

Please note that all CDs are for your own personal, non-commercial use only and must not be copied or reproduced for any other purpose. Any unauthorised use is strictly prohibited.

Gift Packages

Our 'All Inclusive Packages' that are purchased as gifts, must be taken within 3 months of the purchase date. Full 'Therapy Payment Terms and Conditions' will be explained at the time of booking and will also be sent out in writing once payment has been made.

Cancellation Fee - 'Buy Back Option'

In the event that you were unable to give us 48 hours notice and lost the therapy session from your 'All Inclusive Package', we would encourage you to take up our 'Buy Back Option'.

The cost of the 'Buy Back Option' will be advised at your 'Free Initial Consultation' or 'Telephone Consultation' (whichever is applicable) and confirmed in your 'All Inclusive Package Therapy Payment Terms & Conditions'. Purchasing this means you will still be able to complete the 'All Inclusive Package' and have the relevant number of sessions required to get maximum benefit from the therapy.

All Inclusive Package – Termination Fees

We want you to be fully satisfied with the 'All Inclusive Package' that you have purchased from us. However, if for any reason you decide you want to cancel your 'All Inclusive Package' at any time, this is entirely your prerogative. Should this be the case, we advise you that a 'Standard Termination Fee' (as stated in the relevant 'All Inclusive Package Therapy Payment Terms and Conditions' that you will receive) shall apply:

When any of our 'All Inclusive Packages' are terminated before the first therapy session has been taken a 'Standard Termination Fee' shall apply.

We will refund you the total 'All Inclusive Package' price already paid, minus this 'Standard Termination Fee'.

For 'All Inclusive Packages' that are terminated after the first therapy session has been taken, the following 'Termination Fee – Terms and Conditions' listed in the table below shall apply:

Type of Package Termination Fee - Terms & Conditions

1 Session

All our one-off, one hour session packages are payable in full, in advance and are non-refundable if terminated.

Our 'Quit Smoking' and 'Past Life Regression' One-Off Sessions are longer and therefore subject to different Payment Terms and Conditions. The 50% deposit paid in advance is non-refundable if these packages are terminated.

3 Sessions

If you terminate this All Inclusive Package once full payment has been made and the first therapy session has been taken, the remaining balance paid is non-refundable.

5 Sessions

If you terminate this All Inclusive Package once full payment has been made and the first therapy session has been taken, the remaining balance paid is non-refundable.

7 Sessions

If you terminate this All Inclusive Package within the first two sessions, 50% of the total package price paid is non-refundable. Once session 3 has been taken, the remaining balance paid is non-refundable.

10 Sessions

If you terminate this All Inclusive Package within the first three sessions, 50% of the total package price paid is non-refundable. Once session 4 has been taken, the remaining balance paid is non-refundable.

Client Confidentiality

Due to strict client confidentiality regulations, please note that we are unable to talk to anyone about you and your therapy. It is therefore essential that any contact including therapy session cancellations and rescheduling be made personally by you (the client).

Medical Advice

Our Therapists are not qualified to provide medical advice about health problems and nothing in the content of this website constitutes any form of medical advice. All information should be regarded as complementary to, not a substitute for, conventional medical advice and healthcare.

We advise all our clients to consult their GP or relevant Medical Practitioner before undergoing any form of treatment, therapy or otherwise. It is important to identify whether the contributory factors to your problem are mainly physiological, psychological or a combination of the two. Once a medical diagnosis has been given, we can work out the best treatment plan for you with a view to achieving the most realistic, successful outcome from your therapy.

Doctor’s Letter

We work in conjunction with our clients' GPs, Medical Practitioners and Specialists. Please note that when clients present with problems that have physical symptoms, in particular illnesses of a physiological origin, we may require a letter from their Doctor. Written consent is always obtained from the client first before any direct contact is made.

Therapy Outcome

Please note that each client's therapy is a unique and personal experience, therefore the effects and results differ from client to client. Like most other therapies, Hypnotherapy cannot promise anyone a 100% guarantee of a cure.
