I offer a 'Free Initial Consultation' to all my potential clients with absolutely no obligation. This first meeting gives you the opportunity to meet me in person, and see if you feel comfortable talking to me.
The ‘Free Initial Consultation’ can last anything from ten minutes up to half an hour. It is just an informal chat so that I can assess whether I feel I can definitely help you, and the best way for us to work together. No hypnosis is used during this initial meeting.

As a general rule, most sessions are held on a weekly basis, with the exception of the 'Quit Smoking' session which is a one-off two hour session. For more information read about 'Quit Smoking'.
The duration of a course of therapy very much depends on the nature of the problem. In some cases, just a few sessions can be effective, in others, as a rough guide 6 to 12 sessions may be needed. I will discuss this with you at your ‘Free Initial Consultation’.
I always try to accommodate my clients, and arrange a mutually convenient time for therapy.
I see clients from Monday to Friday. Evening appointments are also available, although these times do get booked up quite quickly.
As my diary is always very busy, if you are unable to start your therapy with me straight away because I do not have a suitable time to offer you, I can put you on my Waiting List. I discharge clients all the time, so you shouldn’t have too long to wait before an appointment becomes available on your preferred day and time.

To be discussed at the 'Free Initial Consultation'. Each client's therapy is unique, therefore fees do very much depend on the type of therapy to be used. Please visit my ‘Fees’ webpage for further information.
Cash, cheque and all major credit and debit cards are accepted methods of payment.

The time I spend working with my clients is very important, which is why I operate a 48 hour cancellation policy. Should you find you are unable to attend your appointment for any reason, please telephone me on (01245) 444105 / 07734 059610 at least 48 hours in advance, otherwise you will be charged the full session fee.

Due to strict confidentiality regulations, please note that I am unable to talk to anyone about you and your therapy. It is therefore essential that any contact including therapy session cancellations and rescheduling be made personally by the client.
All my clients are guaranteed strict confidentiality, and all client notes and records are kept secure and confidential at all times.
I am compliant under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998. For further information, please visit the Information Commissioner's Office website.

As required, I have Professional Liability Insurance. A copy of my Insurance Certificate is on display in my Consulting Room so that my clients can rest assured they are in safe hands.

Once we have decided we are going to work together, I will let you know the way that I plan to work. I have numerous methods that I use when taking my clients through therapy, and they are always client-centred, so you can feel confident that you are getting the best treatment for you, and your particular problem. I will discuss this with you during the session, and answer any questions that you may have, as it is important that you feel comfortable with the way I plan to work in order for the therapy to have the best chance of success.
Therapy is all about working together as a team which is why the client/therapist relationship is so important. I am committed to giving all my clients 100%, and I expect the same from them. If you are committed and motivated to succeed, then together we can get you the life you deserve.
There are many ways Hypnotherapists can work when taking their clients through therapy. Below are some of the main types:
The most appropriate method is always chosen for each individual client.
Self-hypnosis is becoming increasingly popular, as more and more people recognise how effective this safe, self-help tool actually is. Many people including Sportsmen, Actors, Musicians, Business People, Artists, Housewives, Policemen, Engineers, Shop Assistants... use it to improve their lives. It doesn't matter who you are or where you come from, anyone can learn how to do it. Visit your local bookshop to buy a book on self-hypnosis or simply go on-line to one of the following websites:
